Boulettes Kefta

Ingredients

  • 500g minced shoulder of lamb
  • 125g bread
  • 1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 100g smoked bacon
  • Pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp ground cumin

Preparation

  1. Remove the crust from the bread, moisten the crumb with a little water and squeeze by hand. Mix the breadcrumbs, meat, pressed garlic, chopped onion, whole egg, yolk, oil, ground cumin and pepper.
  2. Turn on the oven broiler. Shape your mixture into large balls and thread onto skewers.
  3. Sprinkle the kebabs with cumin seeds.
  4. You can also cook them on the barbecue.
  5. Grill the kebabs for around 12 to 15 minutes, turning them as you go.
Serve with couscous flavoured with Spigol®.
